Detailed Wordpress Review
If you currently do not have a Wordpress blog, you really have not embraced making money online yet. Sure, you can go and get a free, hosted blog at places like Blogger.com or even Wordpress.com (this is different than the Wordpress install at Wordpress.org!). But having your own blog on your own server with your own website address that you manage yourself is a bit step above the others.
(And I was able to effectively use a Blogger.com blog for awhile, but they shut it down on occasion and at the end, I was building a lot of authority to a web site that really was not mine.)
Wordpress is called a Content Management System (CMS). After you install Wordpress, it forever lives on the internet and is managed on the internet.
You will receive an adminstrator's login when you first install Wordpress. Once you log into the site, you will be able to create and manage posts and websites in much the same way as you would a simple email. It is really that simple.
So how do you do it? I first recommend that you get hosting through HostGator where they provide you with single 1-click set-ups for installations (including Wordpress). I demonstrate how easy this is in my Wordpress Installation Video (#2)
