| User Review: I decided to experiment with some of my domains, so I about 27 low traffic domains and 1 good performer over to iMonetize in October 2008. I wanted to see how well their optimization worked. After the first month, I was pleased with the performance. The traffic was about the same as the other services I had used before for these same domains, but iMonetize had somewhat better payouts. According to information on their website, they pay 45 days after the end of the month. That's a lot longer than other services, but if they make me more money, I will put up with the 45 day delay.
According to their own website data, my partial month of October netted me just over $100 in revenue. Not bad, except I wouldn't get paid until December 15. November was an even better month for traffic, clicks, and revenue. Then December comes along, and my numbers are still looking good. I am happy, and think I have found a great place to park my domains. Then December 15 rolls around and I start looking for my check. No check arrives. I give them an extra couple of weeks.
Around the first of January, I start calling to find out why I haven't received my payment. I finally got to talk to someone and was told that my account was fine, no problems and no reason for my delayed payment. He told me an account manager would call me back later that day after researching why my payment was not issued. I waited for three more days and got no call back. I called a couple of more times and left messages. No calls were ever returned.
On January 13, a payment finally arrived. But, the payment was about half of the amount I was supposed to receive for October. I called a few more times, sent emails, opened support tickets. No communication. No returned calls, no replies to emails. Nothing!
I started searching forums and posting and found that I am not the only person having problems with them. Some people haven't been paid in several months. Lots of people are not getting calls answered or support. I posted a few times, and got replies warning me that I am wasting time with iMonetize and should move my domains.
IMonetize has been a huge disappointment in every way possible. Payments are late, not sent, and when they are sent they are only partial payments. Support is absolutely horrible or non-existent. Not just slow, completely ignored!
You may find some glowing reviews or other positive messages about iMonetize on the web. Don't be fooled; I haven't found anyone who has had a good experience with them.
Imonetize is starting to smell, and it stinks of a scam. If you are considering using them for anything, take my advice and avoid them. I wish I had read a post like this before I wasted 4 months and hundreds of dollars in revenue. |

I originally started TheWebReviewer back in the middle of 2006. This was at a time when I was exploring all of the different options of making money online and trying to understand the online tools that could save me time and money while growing my online presence. I have tried a lot of them, too. It was only natural for me to take my experiences (successes and failures) and turn them into TheWebReviewer.
Now understand, like most review websites online, there is both an inherent bias and monetization factor involved with providing an opinion. For many of the products on this website, I will be compensated as a referrer for this product. The effort and longetivity of this site and the services it provides has been largely due to this sponsership.
For years, I have tried my hardest to make my reviews as detailed and "real" using my own experiences (many captured in video or screenshots). I do work with many of these companies to help provide my visitors with added discounts, bonuses, coupons and more for purchasing their products.
I also include a User Review section, place for any visitor to write their own experiences with the product or company. These reviews are moderated, but I will generally accept any comment, good or bad, as long as it is thought out, not spam, and not hateful.
Many of the reviews on TheWebReviewer are usually positive. I do this for two reasons: 1) I do like to share the tools that I use the most and the ones that I can provide the most thorough evaluation. 2) I have posted negative reviews in the past, which have resulted in malicious attacks or formal (frivolous) lawsuits. I am a one-man show here and frankly do not have the resources to fight these attacks. Therefore, I usually stick with the products that I currently use, have used in the past, or feel can help other people online. For negative user reviews, I usually contact the companies for their rebuttal. It is their discretion whether they wish to address it or not on my website.
