User Review: Your review is much too kind. As you stated, the first 20 or so pages were wasted telling me how great the book was that I was reading. The pages of instruction on how to set up an Adwords account were likewise filler and fluff. I mean, who would be interested in getting Adwords for free unless they've already tried it. A sure sign that they already have an account. The author claims to have purchased $93 million (free) of Google ads in the last 5 years. That's 9.3 million per year. That's a daily ad budget of over $25,000 per day for a one-man operation. I'm more inclined to believe that the author is inhaling some interesting vapors. And then we learn -- The Secret!!! The author wastes 124 epages to tell us what I can say in two sentences: "Get the top ranking in Adwords by bidding high. Then sell advertising on your landing page." Not exactly earth-shattering. Not exactly getting something for free, either. As you stated, its more like recouping expenses. Maybe even making a profit. And, of course, Google approves of his "secret technique". Google's getting its money so what does it care? This book is not a scam. That word is overused in affiliate marketing ads. But it is definitely "hype". There is no "Secret". The author just presents an interesting, but marginally useful idea. This is the type of book that makes the people "out there" believe that all Clickbank products are rip-offs. So, it's ripping us all off. Save your money for your next Adwords campaign.

About TheWebReviewer Reviews...

I originally started TheWebReviewer back in the middle of 2006. This was at a time when I was exploring all of the different options of making money online and trying to understand the online tools that could save me time and money while growing my online presence. I have tried a lot of them, too. It was only natural for me to take my experiences (successes and failures) and turn them into TheWebReviewer.

Now understand, like most review websites online, there is both an inherent bias and monetization factor involved with providing an opinion. For many of the products on this website, I will be compensated as a referrer for this product. The effort and longetivity of this site and the services it provides has been largely due to this sponsership.

For years, I have tried my hardest to make my reviews as detailed and "real" using my own experiences (many captured in video or screenshots). I do work with many of these companies to help provide my visitors with added discounts, bonuses, coupons and more for purchasing their products.

I also include a User Review section, place for any visitor to write their own experiences with the product or company. These reviews are moderated, but I will generally accept any comment, good or bad, as long as it is thought out, not spam, and not hateful.

Many of the reviews on TheWebReviewer are usually positive. I do this for two reasons: 1) I do like to share the tools that I use the most and the ones that I can provide the most thorough evaluation. 2) I have posted negative reviews in the past, which have resulted in malicious attacks or formal (frivolous) lawsuits. I am a one-man show here and frankly do not have the resources to fight these attacks. Therefore, I usually stick with the products that I currently use, have used in the past, or feel can help other people online. For negative user reviews, I usually contact the companies for their rebuttal. It is their discretion whether they wish to address it or not on my website.
