Detailed Rent-A-Coder Review

Rent-A-Coder originally was aimed at people looking for website designers and developers.  But over the years, this has changed.

Still, Rent-A-Coder is the premiere web design outsourcing site on the internet and any "technical" outsourcing tasks that I have, I usually go to Rent-A-Coder. 

Over time, though, I have found they have expanded quite a bit into other areas such as article writing, SEO, PPC, and other internet related tasks (outside of general website coding). 

For things like "website coding" tasks, I have had 100% success rate.  Usually the tasks have been quite simple (like fixing my search box on my Wordpress blog, or helping me create a custom htaccess file, or create me a quick and simple Adobe AIR application).  These were all done quickly and rather cheaply (all under $100). 

I did once try getting some articles written, and the result just wasn't as good.  Again, with all outsourcing, it is hit-and-miss and this just may have been a miss (not a reflection of Rent-A-Coder itself).  But my opinion, I stick with the companies that specialize in what they do. 

Rent-A-Coder specializes in the internet (design and development).  If I have one of these tasks, I will usually post it in here and either Odesk or eLance.  And remember that posting jobs does not cost anything. 

All-in-all, I have had many successes with Rent-A-Coder (more than any other company)...as long as I was focusing on what they do best, and that is "coding!".
