Outsourcing. If you read the Tim Ferriss book "The 4 Hour Work-Week", I KNOW you are familiar with this term.

"Having others do your work for you!"

The concept makes total sense: If you have a task that you either cannot do, or if your time is worth more than what the tasks costs to outsource, the best business decision is to have someone else do it.

If you are Timothy Ferriss, your time is worth more than almost any task and ultimately, he manages an entire empire in 4 hours.

So this is my first warning to you...Just because Ferriss does it doesn't make it the best decision for you. I have seen WAY too many people outsource their business (and money) away because they did not know what they were doing.

Again, outsource two things:

1) Things you are unable to do

2) Things that can be done cheaper than if you were to do them yourself.

Identifying what you are worth is critical here! If your normal job pays you $10/hour, that is your current worth. If you are making $100,000 per year online and working 40 hour work weeks (for about 2000 hours/year), your current worth is about $50/hour.

Find this value yourself:

(Annual Earnings) / (Hours Per Week Worked * 52 Weeks) = YOUR WORTH

As you make more money, you will find that outsourcing your work starts to make more sense!

But how do you outsource? This is a tough question! In fact, in almost EVERY mastermind group I have ever participated in, the topic of outsourcing is always everyone's biggest hurdle.

Why? Because we fight a few factors:

Competent Workers
Fair Prices
Proper management
Communication

All of these things must "align" in order for outsourcing to work. And it is your job to make these work, too.

Luckily, there are services and tools online that aid you in finding the right people at the right prices with the right management tools and communication features.

Still, no service is complete, but there are trade-offs. The reviews below describe many of my own personal experiences with different outsourcing companies and VA (virtual assistant) companies. Each one has their pluses and minuses and it is your job to choose the company that will work best for you.
