******************************** As I prepare for a day of drinking Cuervo margaritas for Cinco De Mayo, I received notice that Eben Pagan has released a new video on creating your own information products:
Naturally, it got my attention. I opted in and watch it. Pretty darn good stuff. Being in the information product business myself, I even learned a few good tips here.
(Personally, for those of you getting started, information products is one of the best and most profitable avenues online!)
But what's going on, who is Eben and why is he giving away videos?
What's Going On...
...of course, this is the beginning of a product launch (no shocker there!). I spoke with one of Eben's assistants and here is what is going on...
Eben is planning on releasing a product called the Guru Home Study Course (Guru Mastermind) on May 19th (I'm kind of bitter that he is stealing my "Guru" Thunder). This is a collection of the content created during his 12k/person mastermind group that he organized last year.
The product will be both physical (DVD's and booklets) and online focusing in on how to create and effectively market information products.
What does Eben know about info products? Well, he does own and operate one of the most successful dating ebooks online (DoubleYourDating.com). His alias is David DeAngelo.
This is how I know Eben. I've seen him speak on his dating website a few times and this guy has the business of information products down to a science.
Personally, the thing that interests me the most about Eben is his incredible ability to outsource.
Did you know he runs almost all of his businesses without an office? He outsources it (and I am so envious of his ability to do this).
I finally got to meet him at the Innermastermind in Las Vegas last November. We actually spoke for about 15 minutes.
This dude is intense! In just the 15 minutes we spoke, he broke down my business into components and (essentially told me what I was doing wrong). My head is still spinning from the conversation.
My point: Eben is very smart, very successful and I have yet to meet a person who has not been in awe of what he does online, what he does as a businessman, and his incredible ability to teach what he knows.
The moral, I will be following along on this launch, too. I'm considering to buy myself. I hear there will be a bunch of webinars during the upcoming weeks as well as other great video releases.
