With Web 2.0 comes the advent of social networks and because of it, social marketing. Why do we care, though?

Have you recently seen the top 10 visited websites on the internet today:


6 out of 10 of these sites are true social networking websites! The other 4 are the major search engines. And remember where there is traffic, there is money to be made. But with social networks, tapping into this traffic is not as simple as with the search engines (which you either pay for Pay-Per-Click advertising or you build SEO).

How do you take advantage of this? That is what social marketing is all about, and it is not as trivial as you may think. There are many important strategies and techniques involved in making money with sites like Facebook, YouTube, MySpace and more.
  • How do you set up a profitable profile?
  • How do you make friends?
  • Which friends will make you money?
  • What do you do when you have friends?
  • And of course, how is this going to make you money?
All of these questions are critical and doing it wrong will only lead to banishment from major networks, your name blacklisted across the internet, and a lot of wasted time!

Personally, I have always struggled with Social Marketing and I look to the experts in this field to teach me the strategies that will work, not waste my time, and ultimately make me more money.
