Detailed e-OnlineData Review
e-OnlineData is where I started my "merchanting" career, and that was back in 2006. To this day, I still use them to do a lot of my merchant account management.
I found eOnlineData because they were paired (no pun intended) with my hosting company (Pair Networks). I did a bit of looking around and their rates were rather competitive and I was happy that they not only used Authorize.net as their gateway, but they waved the initial fees for sign-up (see Special Offer on this page for this same offer!).
That was then.
The application process was rather simple and within about 2 weeks I was set up and ready to process credit cards. Over the years, I have had questions and concerns about my account and their representatives always returned my calls within 24 hours.
Initially, my monthly charging limits were rather low (about $8k/month), but I was able to raise that rather quickly. I have yet to have any problems being auto-debited into my business bank account on a daily basis and when customer issues do occur, they have always been there to assist.
The rates, customer service and functionality of e-OnlineData have met all of my needs. My biggest concern has been about the limits. And for most merchants, their limit numbers are rather reasonable. Depending on your business model, they are quite flexible about adjusting this number.
Still, I found them to be a bit conservative with this. For "riskier" or "larger limits", I may suggest PowerPay, but for most eCommerce sellers, e-OnlineData is a good solid choice for value and service.
