LSI analysis by search engine spiders means that the site not only looks at the main keywords but relates the other words on your pages to your content as well. The more relevant those words appear to be in terms of your niche, the better the results.
So, not only will paying attention to main keywords help you with your SEO but sprinkling laterally related words in to your content as well (in a way that makes sense for your content) will help you get more targeted traffic too.
